US Newsrooms on Obama Coverage; "The Fix is In"

Glenn Reynolds at Instapundit posted an email he received from one of his readers at a major newsroom. It explains why the Obama-Biden campaign gets nothing but puffy human-interest stories while McCain-Palin is subjected to the utmost in hostile interrogation and "gotcha questions" sprinkled with generous helpings of phony scandal mongering from "anonymous sources".

Off the record, every suspicion you have about MSM being in the tank for O is true. We have a team of 4 people going thru dumpsters in Alaska and 4 in arizona. Not a single one looking into Acorn, Ayers or Freddiemae. Editor refuses to publish anything that would jeopardize election for O, and betting you dollars to donuts same is true at NYT, others. People cheer when CNN or NBC run another Palin-mocking but raising any reasonable inquiry into obama is derided or flat out ignored. The fix is in, and its working." No wonder we don't hear so much as a peep about Obama's considerable dirty laundy, unsavory political associations and questionable loyalties. The only way to get any major news organization to print real news about the big O is to push, cajole and pinch it out of them.
