The left is very quick to accuse Republicans of attacking their candidates personally and not facing the issues. What they don't understand is that personal issues are important. Issues of character, judgment, associations, etc.Name calling does not fall into that category. Calling Barack Obama a 'terrorist' is (a) inaccurate and (b) counterproductive. However, saying that Barack Obama associated with a terrorist is (a) accurate and (b) productive.
On the other side, saying that Sarah Palin is anti-abortion is (a) accurate and (b) productive (for the left). Calling Sarah Palin a c*nt is (a) inaccurate and (b) counterproductive and (c) makes you look like a total moron.
And just think. The left is now harping on the "anger" at the McCain/Palin rallies. Do you think they will cover this?
