GOP & College here, with my new blog, "Red State, Blue City." After graduating from Tennessee Tech, I took a job outside of Atlanta and moved down here. It is definitely an oasis of liberalism in the middle of a deep red state.After posting for many years under the shadow of an pseudonym, I've decided to step out into the light here at my new site.
So this is me!
My actual name is Robert Swick, and yes, I did graduate with my mechanical engineering degree August 2nd of 2008. I graduated with right at a 3.0, after starting in August of 2003 (but I took a 1 year co-op with Magotteaux in there). That's me at graduation.And of course there is the College-ette!
This is her and me in Destin, Florida for a wedding on the beach. We've been dating for almost 4 years now, and although we don't have a date set yet, she said yes when I asked her to be my wife!
