SF's Gavin Newsom battles the bottled water cartel

Taking a stand to protect our precious bodily fluids, CBS affiliate 47TV reports that San Francisco's odious Mayor Newsom has by executive order decreed that starting July 1st (In time for Independance Day) the City of San Francisco will prohibit its departments from buying bottled water. The ban will affect all city water coolers by December first (In time for Christmas or Winter Solstice if you're a liberal). The Newsom administration has congratulated itself on its decision saying that it will save the taxpayers money and will fight global warming!

They just had to throw in global warming. Can they get any more foolish in "Bagdad by the Bay". I think the answer is most certainly yes. The only question is into what new depths of folly can the city of San Francisco drop?
