Beautiful light coppery-watermelon color. Inviting, earthy, strawberry/cherry nose with a steely mineral spine. Big, dry, earthy flavors with lots of ripe, dry cherry fruit. Good acidity for an '09 to balance out the fairly full body. Long, powerful, clean finish. Very good. B+. Imported by Kermit Lynch.
